The Lifecycle of a Relationship

The Lifecycle of a Relationship.mp3 (transcribed by Sonix)

Announcer: The following minute is brought to you by Relationship Excellence dot com.

Owen Williams: Welcome to The Relationship Minute. I'm Owen Williams. All relationships have a beginning, a middle and an end. There is a natural arc to relationships.

Owen Williams: If we look back in our lives we will see that many of us have hung on to relationships way longer than was necessary. Longer than was necessary for us and maybe even for the relationship. But letting go of a relationship in a loving and respectful way isn't something that's that easy to do. We don't all do endings well. So it's helpful to look back and understand what caused us to hang on to a relationship. What were we hoping for? What was the dream that we had about that relationship? And how could we have let go of it? In a better way. Everyone is in your life for a reason. Some for a season and some for the test of time.

Owen Williams: Thank you for taking The Relationship Minute and remember it's later than you think.
