Announcer: The following minute is brought to you by Relationship Excellence dot com.
Owen Williams: Welcome to The Relationship Minute. I'm Owen Williams.
Owen Williams: From time to time will all feel resentful. The interesting thing about resentment is we think it's about the other person. And yet resentment occurs when we give too much. We need to ask ourselves, who asked us to give as much as we were giving? Because when we take stock of our own behavior and we look at resentment as an opportunity to learn and grow about ourselves, we'll see that we gave more than was necessary and nobody actually asked us to do that.
Owen Williams: So when we can take stock of our own choice to do what we did we can actually let go of resentment. It's a wonderful key to look at ourselves and unlock something new.
Owen Williams: Thank you for taking The Relationship Minute and remember it's later than you think.
