Announcer: The following minute is brought to you by Relationship Excellence dot com.
Owen Williams: Welcome to The Relationship Minute. I'm Owen Williams.
Owen Williams: Have you ever said to yourself, "oh I'm my own worst enemy." Surely you've heard somebody say that if you haven't said it yourself – which would surprise me.
Owen Williams: Notice how we never hear people say, "I'm my own best friend." Our focus is often on the negative and the painful and a really great question for us to be with is, how do you become your own best friend? How do you practice self care good boundaries that actually support who you are and who you want to become? Because when we say we're our own worst enemy we're noticing that we're not doing the things that really enliven us and bring vitality into our lives. So my question to you is in becoming your own best friend what would enliven you and what could you do to become better to yourself?
Thank you for taking The Relationship Minute and remember it's later than you think.
