Welcome to The Relationship Minute. I'm Owen Williams.
There is one word in the English language that I consider to be the most dangerous of words and that word is 'enough'. Am I good enough, smart enough, lovable enough?
When we're asking ourselves these questions, we actually never measure up to the standard that's impossible to see or really know. You know, comparison is the thief of joy. So in these moments we're comparing ourselves to this unknown quantity and we're hurting ourselves by even asking ourselves the question. My invitation to you is to look at when you use these words and to eliminate them in your own language and to watch for these in the language of those that you love because you are enough.
Remember comparison is the thief of joy.
